Dashboard Guide

Master the HotMention dashboard to find, filter, and convert your best leads.

Conversations View

Your main lead inbox — all mentions matching your keywords.

The Conversations tab shows every lead HotMention finds. Each card displays:

  • Platform icon (Reddit, X, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Conversation title and snippet
  • Intent score (0-100) with color-coded label (HOT/WARM/LOW)
  • Author username
  • Matched keyword
  • Timestamp (when the mention was posted)

Filtering & Sorting

  • Score: Filter by HOT, WARM, or LOW intent
  • Platform: Show only Reddit, X, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Keyword: Filter by specific keyword matches
  • Date range: Last 24h, 7 days, 30 days, or custom
  • Sort: By score (highest first), date (newest first), or platform

💡 Tip: Start each day by filtering for HOT leads (70+) from the last 24 hours. Reply fast while the conversation is active.

Lead Details

Click any lead card to see the full conversation, AI analysis, and draft reply.

Inside each lead, you'll see:

Full conversation: Original post + all replies for context
Intent score breakdown: Why the AI scored it high/low (urgency, budget signals, etc.)
Competitors mentioned: If they named other tools, you'll see them highlighted
Draft reply: AI-generated response you can copy or customize
Quick actions: Move to pipeline stage, mark as contacted, or archive

Pro move: Open the lead in a new tab, customize the draft reply in HotMention, then paste it on the platform. Track the lead in the pipeline afterward.

Switch to Pipeline view to see your leads organized by stage:

💡 Tip: Review your Converted column weekly to identify which keywords, platforms, and intent scores drive the most conversions.

Keywords Management

Add, edit, pause, or delete keywords in real-time.

Navigate to Dashboard → Keywords to manage your active keywords.

Add keywords: Click "Add Keyword" and type new phrases. They go live immediately.

Pause keywords: Temporarily stop monitoring without deleting. Great for testing.

View stats: See how many leads each keyword generated, avg intent score, and conversion rate.

💡 Tip: Remove keywords that consistently generate LOW-intent leads (<40). Focus on what works.

Discovery (AI Keyword Suggestions)

Let AI suggest new high-converting keywords based on your existing data.

HotMention analyzes your leads and suggests related keywordsyour target customers are using.

How it works:

  • 1. AI scans your converted leads and high-intent mentions
  • 2. Finds patterns in language, phrases, and questions
  • 3. Suggests 5-10 new keywords per week
  • 4. You review and add the ones that fit

💡 Tip: Run discovery monthly. Customer language evolves — your keywords should too.

Analytics

Track performance, conversion rates, and ROI over time.

The Analytics tab shows:

  • Total leads this month vs last month
  • Breakdown by platform (which channels deliver best leads)
  • Avg intent score over time
  • Conversion rate (Converted ÷ Total leads)
  • Top-performing keywords
  • Response time (how fast you engage after a lead appears)

Key metric to watch: HOT lead conversion rate. If leads scored 70+ convert at <10%, your reply messaging may need work. If they convert at 20%+, you're nailing it.
