Getting Started

Get your first qualified leads in under 5 minutes.

Sign Up

Head to hotmention.com and click "Start Free".

You can sign up with Google or GitHub. No credit card required for the free plan.

Onboarding Flow

After signing in, you'll be guided through a quick setup:

Enter your website URL

HotMention's AI analyzes your site to understand what you offer and who you help.

Review suggested keywords

Based on your site, we suggest keywords that match buyer intent. For example: 'affiliate software', 'referral program alternative', 'best CRM for startups'.

Add or edit keywords

You can accept the suggestions, add your own, or tweak them. Think about phrases your ideal customer would search for when they have a problem you solve.

Choose platforms

Select which platforms to monitor: Reddit, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora, or Threads. (Availability depends on your plan.)

Pick a plan

Start with Free (Reddit + X/Twitter, 5 keywords, 10 leads/month) or upgrade to Starter/Growth/Scale for more platforms and volume.

Your First Leads

Once you complete onboarding, HotMention starts monitoring immediately. Depending on your keywords and chosen platforms, you'll start seeing leads within minutes to hours.

Leads appear in your Dashboard → Conversations view. Each lead shows:

  • The conversation title and snippet
  • Intent score (0-100) with label: HOT, WARM, or LOW
  • Platform (Reddit, X, etc.)
  • AI-drafted reply you can customize
  • Whether competitors were mentioned

Take Action

For each lead, you can:

  • 💬
    Reply directly

    Copy the AI draft or write your own, then click through to the platform to post.

  • 📌
    Move to pipeline stages

    Mark as Contacted, Converted, or Archived to track progress.

  • 📧
    Get notified

    Enable email, Slack, or Telegram notifications so you never miss a hot lead.
